  1. WHAT IS GIBBY AND HOW DOES IT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER MARKETPLACE?

    GIBBY is a platform for on-demand buying and selling. Basically, GIBBY is different from a normal marketplace that offers goods that are bought or become inventories from the Seller. On GIBBY platform, Gibster (our term for "the person who offers / runs the on-demand item purchasing service") offers an attractive deal for Goods that he finds anywhere and can help buy them to earn a commission. Requester (Our term for "people who buy / needs help from other parties to buy them certain items"), can find attractive and exclusive deals at very good prices through GIBBY application.
    Again to be clear, GIBBY is a platform to bring Requester and Gibster together for on-demand buying and selling purposes; but we do not sell goods or offer to buy goods ourselves.

  2. HOW DOES GIBBY WORKS?

    Initially, Gibster offers items that are considered attractive for sale by creating a Live Shop. In each Live Shop there will be information such as pictures of goods offered, description of goods, location of purchase of goods, price of goods, quantity of goods available, weight of goods, estimated date of shipment of goods and shipping address as well as the duration of the Live Shop itself. After Gibster posted the Live Shop, Requester will be able to see the Live Shop and the items offered therein. If you as a Requester wants to buy one of the items offered but have questions about the items, then you can chat directly with the relevant Gibster. After everything is clear and you decide to buy the item, then you can click Buy and add the item to your Shopping Cart then checkout and make payment. There are several payment methods provided by GIBBY including payment via credit card, ATM transfer, Bank Transfer, e-money (GO-PAY), etc. Once the payment has been received, GIBBY will hold the funds while automatically and immediately sends a notification to Gibster, so that the Gibster concerned can directly buy the item in question. After the item is purchased, shipped via courier and received well by Requester, GIBBY will forward the payment previously held to the Gibster. At this point, the transaction is deemed complete. For the security and convenience of both parties, all of the above activities must be carried out through the GIBBY application. If there are things that are done outside the GIBBY application, then GIBBY is fully not responsible for the validity and smoothness of the transaction and GIBBY also has the right to suspend, block, and even close the account of users who violate the rules of GIBBY.

  3. DEFINITION OF A LIVE SHOP

    Live Shop is a virtual store opened by Gibster, to offer goods for the attractive deals he/she found at the physical store(s). On each Live Shop, there will be a timer or duration of the Live Shop that shows how long the Gibster in question is likely to be in the store and / or can help to buy the items offered from the store. If you want to buy it (as Requester), you have to choose the item you want, click Buy, and do the checkout process and payment. All of the above processes until the payment process is completed must be done until complete within the above said time/duration specified by the Live Shop concerned. This was intended to enable Gibster to know for certain that Requester was serious in making a purchase order and also to receive confirmation that payment from the order had been carried out successfully and is temporarily being escrowed by GIBBY. Confirmation like this is expected to provide certainty and confidence to Gibster to complete the purchase order process safely.

  4. IS IT SAFE TO TRANSACT VIA GIBBY?

    Security is one of GIBBY's top priorities and is an important element that our team always strives to improve. Sistem-wise, GIBBY application is using highly secured technology and your private information is backed up confidentially. Process-wise, there are several levels of security that GIBBY applies. It starts from the beginning of the registration process where the user must use the password and verify the email that is registered. Then when the user wants to register a bank account for withdrawal purposes, a random OTP (One True Pairing) method is applied to add a security system layer for the user. Then when Requester wanted to buy certain goods and make a payment, the payment funds were also temporarily held by GIBBY and will only be released to Gibster after Requester received the ordered items in good condition and accurate as per the purchase order. Finally, for the Gibster itself, since payment funds from Requester have been processed from the beginning and safely held by GIBBY, Gibster has gained confidence that the purchase order is valid and payment has been verified. Lastly, the process of sending/shipping ordered items can also be tracked by Requester by providing an update status based on the delivery receipt scanned / uploaded by Gibster to the GIBBY system. All of the above processes provide security and convenience for the users to transact using GIBBY application.

  5. ARE THE PRICES STATED IN THE GIBBY APPLICATION INCLUDING THE GIBSTER COMMISSION?

    The prices listed on the GIBBY application already include the Gibster’s commission.

  6. DOES GIBBY APPLY ANY FEE IN TRANSACTION?

    At present, we only charge an administration fee of IDR 6,000 (Six thousands Rupiah), which is charged to Requesters. Specifically for payment using credit cards, a credit card admin fee will be charged 3%. (this is in accordance with the fees charged by the credit card issuer in question).
    However, GIBBY does not rule out the possibility of establishing other charges/fees that are required by regulation and/or as determined by the company's internal decisions in the future. These charges include, but are not limited to insurance charges for shipping goods, GIBBY administrative fees, fees for additional features, tax fees, and other fees.

  7. HOW CAN I DO THE CANCELLATION OF TRANSACTION?

    As a Requester, you cannot cancel a transaction after payment has been made. However, if the item is not available and / or Gibster does not ship the item within the agreed date/deadline, GIBBY will cancel the transaction automatically and your money will be returned back to you.

    As a Gibster, you can refuse an order/transaction but this may affect your credibility. GIBBY on its own discretion has the right to penalize Gibsters, who frequently rejects/declines transactions or who rejects/declines number of transactions in a row.

    Penalty could lead to suspension, blocking of account, or even cancellation/closure of account.

  8. IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION OF TRANSACTIONS CAUSED BY ONE AND OTHER THINGS, WHAT WILL BE THE STATUS OF MY MONEY?

    In the event of a transaction cancellation by Gibster, the payment money temporarily held by GIBBY will be returned back to Requester. Requester can then access the funds from the "My Withdrawal" menu and withdraw the funds to their registered accounts.

(SELLER)




  1. WHAT IS GIBSTER?

    Gibster is a term for parties/people that offer services to buy goods in a physical store. In the GIBBY application, Gibster opened a live shop with items he could help to purchase for.

  2. HOW DO I MAKE A LIVE SHOP?

    Create Cover Live Shop
    Fill in all the details required including the duration of the Live Shop
    Add items you want to offer in your Live Shop
    You can create more than 1 Live Shop and can end the Live Shop early if all items have been sold out
    You can find a purchase recap and step by step actions to be done

  3. WHAT GOODS CAN I OFFER IN THE GIBBY APPLICATION?

    Before making a transaction, please first review our Terms and Conditions. GIBBY is not responsible for any loss caused by negligence in fulfilling our conditions. Please adhere to the list of prohibited items for sale as per applicable rules and regulations of Government of Indonesia
    In addition, as a Gibster you are responsible for fulfilling all your obligations, including but not limited to adhere to Customs regulations that applicable in Indonesia.

  4. CAN I MAKE MORE THAN 1 LIVE SHOP AT THE SAME TIME?

    Yes, Gibster can make more than 1 live shop at the same time. We also recommend that you open a Live Shop when you are actually at the shop.

  5. HOW DO I KNOW THAT THE REQUESTER HAS MADE PAYMENT AND WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THIS PAYMENT?

    After the payment from Requester is confirmed, GIBBY application will automatically notify you. GIBBY will also provide a summary / recapitulation of your sales in real time to be used as a reference for what ordered items you need to purchase.

    After the transaction is complete and Requester confirms that the order has been received properly, GIBBY will transfer the Requester’s payment funds to your account. The funds can be viewed under the option "Account" - "Withdrawal". You can then withdraw the funds to your bank account registered with GIBBY.

  6. IS THERE A TIME LIMIT FOR BUYING GOODS?

    Yes, because GIBBY is an on-demand Live Shopping App, there is a time limit in purchasing goods. You have to buy Requester ordered items within 1x24 hours. After the purchase, you must confirm Requester's order in the My Account → Gibster section → "To Shop" → "Mark as Purchased".
    This step indicates that you have bought Requester's ordered items. If you do not confirm within the specified time period, the order will be automatically cancelled by the GIBBY system and the payment money will be returned to Requester.

  7. IS THERE A TIME LIMIT IN SENDING THE REQUESTER ORDER WHICH HAS BEEN PURCHASED?

    Yes, you must send Requester ordered items according to the Maximum Shipping Date that you specified at the beginning (when you create the Live Shop).
    GIBBY will cancel the transaction if you do not send Requester's order within the specified period. This is intended so that Requester as a buyer gets certainty when the goods ordered will be delivered. In turn, Gibster will also get payment funds released after the goods have been sent and received well by Requester.

  8. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO WHEN RECEIVING A COMPLAINT?

    Requester has 2x24 hours after the shipping status changes to "Delivered" to confirm receipt of goods. If there is a complaint from Requester, we require that Requester fill in the full details along with supporting evidence(s), which will be submitted to the relevant Gibster (to be taken into consideration for you to decide on how to respond to the complaint).
    The first step recommended for you is to find a mutual agreement with the Requester. However, if an agreement cannot be reached, then you (or Requester) can report the complaint case to GIBBY by clicking the “Report” button in the Chat menu that is related to the transaction. In that case, GIBBY will then conduct an investigation, and make a decision based on available supporting evidence(s). Please note that GIBBY's decision is considered final and irrevocable.



QUESTIONS ABOUT REQUESTER
(BUYER)




  1. WHAT IS A REQUESTER?

    Requester is a term for those who ask for help to purchase goods on their behalf. In the GIBBY application, Requester makes payment to GIBBY, and the GIBBY will send a real time notification regarding the payment to Gibster so that Gibster can directly helps to buy the item as per Requester’s order.

  2. CAN I DO PURCHASING/ORDERING IN MORE THAN 1 LIVE SHOP AT THE SAME TIME?

    Requester can only make purchases from 1 Live Shop at a time. If you as Requester want to buy goods from 2 different Live Shops, you must complete the payment for the first Live Shop, before you can add items from the second Live Shop or other Live Shops to your Cart or Shopping Cart.

  3. WHEN IS THE LIMIT FOR ME TO MAKE PAYMENT?

    You have the time to complete payments until the item is sold out; and / or the timer on the Live Shop ends.

  4. WHEN I WANT TO CHECKOUT AND CHOOSE THE METHOD OF BANK TRANSFER PAYMENTS, IT TURNS OUT I CAN NOT CHECKOUT EVEN THOUGH THE LIVE SHOP HAS NOT ENDED?

    Because the time and goods offered are limited, GIBBY applies the "First Pay First Serve" rules. Goods offered by Gibster will only be purchased for if the goods have been paid in full. In this case if you have already checked out by choosing a bank transfer payment method but have not yet actually made the payment, the same item can still be purchased by another Requester. If the item sold out before you make the payment, the transaction and payment instructions will be automatically canceled by the GIBBY system so you can no longer make payment. It is therefore recommended to make payments as soon as possible after you make a purchase to avoid the issue above

  5. WHAT ARE THE GIBBY ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS?

    At present, GIBBY accepts payments via bank transfer, ATM, Go-Pay, and credit cards.

  6. WHEN WILL I GET MY ORDERED GOODS?

    Gibster has time to send the goods up to the "Maximum Shipping Date" which is set upon creating the Live Shop (can be seen in your transaction status in the My Request menu). And from the date of delivery, it will arrive at your address depending on the type of courier service you choose. If Gibster does not ship items up to maximum 2 days after the promised date, the transaction will be canceled automatically and the money will be returned to the Requester.

  7. HOW ABOUT IF I CHANGE MY MIND AND WANT TO CANCEL MY PURCHASE ORDER?

    As a Requester, you cannot cancel your transaction after payment has been made. So please make sure you check all transaction details such as the recipient's name, address, mobile number, type and number of items you ordered before making a payment. You can ask Gibster to cancel the transaction, but this depends on the policy and discretion of Gibster whether the he/she is willing to make the cancellation or not.

  8. WHAT SHOULD I DO IF THE GOODS I RECEIVED ARE DAMAGED OR NOT ACCORDING TO MY ORDER OR EVEN THE GOODS NEVER ARRIVED AT ALL?

    After the status of shipping changes to "Delivered", you have 2x24 hours to confirm receipt of goods. If there is any damage or other issues, you can file complaint that can be done through the "My Request" menu. You will be asked to write in full details along with providing supporting evidence, in which those information will be submitted to the relevant Gibster.
    When you make a complaint, the payment of the goods will be held by GIBBY until an agreement to resolve the problem is reached.
    We hope that you can find a mutual agreement with Gibster on your own. But if an agreement can not reached, then you (or Gibster) can report the matter to GIBBY. In that case, GIBBY will make a decision based on all supporting evidence. GIBBY's decision is considered final and irrevocable.


QUESTIONS ABOUT COURIER SERVICES




  1. WHO ARE THE COURIER OR LOGISTIC COMPANIES THAT HAVE PARTNERED UP WITH GIBBY?

    At this time, we have collaborated with JNE, JNT, and GOJEK (GO-SEND). As a Gibster, you can set the courier you want to use using the Account → As Gibster → My Courier menu

  2. HOW DO I CALCULATE SHIPPING COST IN THE GIBBY APPLICATION?

    As a Gibster, you can simply enter the weight of the item according to the weight and volume of the goods offered and the GIBBY application will calculate the shipping costs based on the rates given by each of our partner couriers.
    lease note that if there is a difference in shipping costs that you include in the application and the actual shipping costs that are charged when you ship the item, the difference in those shipping cost will be borne by the Gibster.

  3. IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE COURIER SERVICES, WHOM SHOULD I CONTACT?

    If you have questions or issues regarding courier services or freight services including but not limited to how to calculate the weight of the goods you are offering; delay in shipping goods; couriers who never arrives, and other issues, you can immediately contact the relevant courier.

    QUESTIONS ABOUT WITHDRAWAL OF FUNDS




    1. HOW DO I WITHDRAW FUNDS?

      You can access My Account → MY Withdrawal menu, then register your bank account, and do the funds withdrawal instructions.
      Please make sure that you enter all the correct information including your account number. GIBBY is not responsible for unsuccessful withdrawal of funds due to incorrect bank account details.
    2. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY FUNDS?

      After we receive the funds withdrawal instructions and perform verification, the funds will be credited into your account within 2x24 hours (not including Saturdays, Sundays, and other national holidays).

    3. HOW DO I CHECK MY FUND WITHDRAWAL STATUS?

      From the menu Account → Withdrawal → Transaction menu, then click your particular transaction. Pending status means your instructions are being processed; while Complete status means that we have transferred the funds to your account. In general, funds will arrive effectively in your account within 2x24 hours (excluding Saturday, Sunday and other national holidays).

    4. ARE THERE LIMITATIONS THAT APPLY TO THE WITHDRAWAL OF FUNDS?

      Yes. GIBBY limits the request for withdrawal of funds for each user to only once every 1x24 hours. (Maximum of 1x withdrawal request in 24 hours)
